Global textile industry is facing many problems and challenges. Bad working conditions, lacking labor rights and pollution of the environment are common issues. Severe impacts on humans and ecosystems are facilitated by complex supply chains and a lack of transparency.
ENKA® Viscose has been selected as „responsible fiber“ according to the Fairtrade Textile Standard. The Fairtrade Textile Standard aims to improve working conditions and labor rights while considering environmental aspects along the entire textile supply chain. Utilizing ENKA® Viscose allows customers to certify in cooperation with Fairtrade the entire value chain according to the Fairtrade Textile Standard.
